As a special treat for 2017 Tony Wait has traveled down from Gifford Circus with their traditional Street Organ. Giffords Circus vision was to create a miniature village green circus, bursting at the seams, packed, rowdy, tiny, a little band of performers who live nomadically, performing daily, engrossed in the serious business of making magic.

Mitchell and Vincent Acoustic Duo
David J Mitchell and Graham Vincent, an acoustic folk duo based in the South West of England and they are always interested in playing. Candlelight welcomes the popular duo who have over 80 gigs in 2016 and still found time to produce their 2nd album, Circling the Square!
Jonathan has been collecting and playing Medieval musical instruments for 35 years in the form of modern reproductions made using information
gleaned from the iconography of the period, or in the form of modern
folk survivals particularly from Eastern Europe and the Levant.
Mr. Mommet Punch and Judy Show
Mr Mommet will be in the Tithe Barn this year creating memorable moments for children and parents to enjoy. Another unmissable treat for Dunster's 30th celebrations.
West Somerset Morris Men
Dancing and playing and all about having fun for everyone!
Living history of Medieval re-enactment, the Sutton Houshold are a 15th Century Living History and Re-enactment Troupe Covering the South and West of England. A Whole Old World exists inside our modern world within the Medieval Re-enactment Community.
Brass Bands, Bell Ringers, Singers and Choirs
Music fills the streets thanks to our ever faithful and immensely popular bands, singers, choirs to whom we are grateful for supporting us each year, for 2016 we were pleased to welcome:
Dunster Carollers, West Somerset Brass Band, Minehead Handbell Ringers,The Courage to Sing Choir, The Acorn Shanty Crew, Blackdown Community Choir, Wellington Silver Band, Wiveliscombe Community Wind Band and Blooming Flutes. Hopefully this year several of these groups will join us and probably some more.
Well it wouldn't be December without Santa who will be at Candlelight courtesy of the Minehead Lions Club.
A big thank you to Sally Mann for working so hard this year on our entertainment for this year. She has managed to get some brilliant acts.
Sally Mann is a creative producer for festivals and Events. She coordinates artistic programmes and manages Events. Sally is also the artistic director of Fuse Performance Somerset’s Outdoor Arts Company and also runs Somerfest in Taunton.
